Congyu E is a director/sound editor living in Los Angeles. She comes from Shenzhen, China and

moved to Maine for high school in 2008. While in Maine, she developed a keen interest in film spending countless hours watching movies. In 2010, Congyu was admitted to University of Southern California, School of Cinematic Arts in pursuit of her bachelor degree in Film & Television Production.

 

In the past few years, Congyu has worked on more than 50 films and was selected to direct USC’s

school-funded thesis project. She also has experiences working for major companies including Fox

and Lionsgate. Congyu is current an assistant for acclaimed producer Janet Yang.
