The Annenberg Film Marketing Association (AFMA), Los Angeles
is proud to announce the 2016 AFMA Film Festival of Young Cinema.
The festival, our 3rd annual, will be held 12pm-10pm, April 02, 2016.
This event is an annual showcase of new film arts from young talented
filmmakers. It also serves as a platform for student filmmakers, industry
professionals, and investors to meet and share with each other. The Film
Festival takes place each Spring in Los Angeles, California, and features
screenings, conversations and ceremony.
There are creative minds and talented works emerging every year.
We want to make them meet and talk, and keep these inspirational
conversations going!
Our events include two parts:
Screening Ceremony
Film Lounge
Screening Ceremony
10-15 Selected Titles
With the support from our mentors, 10-15 titles will be selected
to screen from the most creative and high standard film
school thesis collection.
Mentors & Guests
Our mentors this year include Academy members, experienced filmmakers from Hollywood and China, influential film investors,
top film school professors and film company executives.
AFMA Jury Award & Audience Choice Award
Awards winners will be selected and announced at the ceremony
and receive his/her own AFMA Award Statue.
Q&A Session
Audience will meet the directors and their creative teams during
the Q&A session right after the screening.

Filmmaker Lounge
Filmmaker Lounge is only open to film-related talents.
The Filmmaker Lounge after the ceremony will provide a more intimate and relaxing environment for filmmakers, mentors and industry professionals to communicate.
It is more than mix and mingle! Inspirational talks among peers, new projects development with investors, advices and suggestions from mentors, these are what will happen in the Filmmaker Lounge.
