WHO WE ARE ?
AFMA is short for Annenberg Film Marketing Association, an USC-recognized student organization founded on September 2013.
The purpose of AFMA is to provide students with opportunities to explore business side of the entertainment industry through participating in projects and events.
AFMA also aims to provide filmmakers with the connections among students and professionals.
AFMA provides services for students and independent filmmakers, which include but not limited to the following activities: marketing campaign development, film festivals submission, publicity event planning, and film distribution.
Members of AFMA are from different backgrounds which share a mutual passion for film marketing.
AFMA Annual Film School Festival

As an annual celebration of the emerging Chinese film talents in North America, the Festival is the first of its kind.

Showcased excellent student shorts, including the Student Oscar Winning short Door God (Dir. Yulin Liu).

We invited Industry professionals and film scholars from China and Hollywood as judges, panalists, and guests to the festivals.

Attracted 3 TV media, 10 printed media, and 35 Net TV.

Providing thought provoking presentations, panels and discussions. Our Panel Discussions has invited guests such as Hongyan Zhang (veteran producer), Michael Peyser (Professor at USC School of Cinematic Arts), Xiaolin Liu (Vice President of Shanghai New Culture Media).
