AFMA Presents

Hailing from Nanjing, Cynthia Yuqin Feng came to Chapman University for her undergraduate studies.

 

As a film studies major, she incorporates the ideas of film theory with film production. Her background provides her a great sense for music and the visual arts. She has directed two short films so far and has received positive responses from both audiences and festivals.

 

As a young student filmmaker, she is determined to keep on making “films” rather than “movies”, telling stories that are beyond race, nationality, and sex.
