MY WAY ( Art Center College of Design )
Qing Wang | 17m49s
Qing Wang is a girl who loves art. She thinks that art is a magical international language. Whether music, paint, dance, design or movies, the arts weave a huge network that connects people from different parts of the world or different time periods.
Qing grew up in Mainland China, a country with a great cultural history. As she was growing up, she learned sketching, painting and Chinese brush calligraphy. She could immerse herself into her work for hours, she loved to let her imagination go everywhere, and she enjoyed the process of creating art. But the more she learned, she realized the more she needed to learn.
Qing did her undergraduate study in the United Kingdom - an area of the world that had a totally different cultural background compared to where she came from. She spent four years in the beautiful city of Edinburgh in Scotland. She studied animation at Edinburgh College of Art. And that was her first time far away from home, all by herself. She made a pair of invisible wings for her dream.
Qing came to the United States two years ago, and she became a graduate film student at Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
She likes to use in her films all the skills she learned, she likes to discover the tiny beauties in the world that we never pay enough attention to. She likes to feel, to see, and express in her own way.¬
